My studio is in Asheville, North Carolina, where I live with my family, surrounded by my very favorite mountains. I’m self-taught, with a background in textiles, fashion design, and product development (The University of Georgia and FIDM San Francisco). My cut-paper collages have been featured in Frankie Magazine and multiple picture books — including Your One And Only Heart written by Newbery Honor recipient Rajani LaRocca and Dare To Be Caring written by Chelsea Lin Wallace. My own books, This Is A Window and This Is Our City, were praised for being “a winsome foray into a world of pure imagination.” (Kirkus Reviews) and “a beautiful illustration of the notion that ‘play is the work of children.’” (School Library Journal).

My mixed media collages are comprised of paint, colored pencil, crayon, marker, stamps, pastels, and cut-paper.
